Women’s Chorus is open to all women in grades 9-12 without an audition.  The basics of singing and musicianship will be covered, as well as basic music culture and philosophy.  Women’s Chorus will emphasize diversity of time periods and musical styles.  Although no second language is required, students will be expected to sing in languages other than English.  Students may be expected to attend some after school rehearsals.  This course requires performances and rehearsals; some of which may be scheduled in the evenings or weekends. Students will be asked to purchase a uniform. Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
