Footnotes is open to all students in grades 9-12 by audition
only. The course will focus primarily on vocal jazz and popular music of several decades. Emphasis will
be placed on choreography/staging of vocal selections. Although no second language is required, students may be
expected to sing in languages other than English. Students may be expected to attend some after school rehearsals.
This course requires performances and rehearsals; some of which may be scheduled in the evening or on weekends. Students
may be asked to supply certain costumes/props when necessary. Financial assistance may be available for those who
qualify.
