Chamber Singers is open to all students in grades 9-12 by audition
only. The basics of vocal pedagogy, history, and philosophy will be covered. Although no second language
is required, students will be expected to sing in languages other than English. Students will also learn different vocal
techniques, and will explore a diverse range of musical styles. Some after school rehearsals may be required.
This course requires performances and rehearsals; some of which may be scheduled in the evening or weekends. Students
may be required to purchase a uniform. Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
