Things and Stuff...Parents and Students - I am in the process of uploading rehearsal tracks for our
upcoming concerts to the Choir Moodle. Please click here to go directly to the login page. Students are expected to rehearse outside
of class time using this feature. You will be tested periodically to check your progress.
Also, I would like
to call your attention to our new ongoing fundraiser through Music in Motion. We are excited to participate with this company through our fundraising endeavors.
A percentage of every sale goes directly to AHS Choirs, so please take a look at their items, and pass this information along
if you know anyone else who might be interested.
See you at the Winter Concert on December 16th!

September happeningsLast night was our PTO Open House for Asheville High. I had a wonderful
time meeting so many new choir parents at that event! Thank you for coming out!
Parents, if you have supplied
your e-mail address to me, you should have received a message regarding the scheduling of our upcoming booster meeting.
Please check your e-mail again, as I have sent a revised message due to some errors in the poll link.
Also, I hope
your students have brought home their fundraising forms for Silver Canyon Coffee. We hope to have much success with
this event, as the students are trying to raise money for new uniforms and our spring trips. Please continue to support
them in their fundraising efforts as we continue throughout the year.
Finally, I have scheduled a CHOIR
Open House night for Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 p.m. Please mark your calendars and plan to join
us for light refreshments and discussion about our goals for the AHS Choir Program this year! I look forward to seeing
you then.

New beginnings...Another school year is nearly upon us. We have many exciting things planned

Well, we are nearly to the end of our performing season! It has been an exciting
and emotional year for all of us. We hope you were able to make it out to our Spring Concert last Wednesday, but if
not, stay tuned for pictures from that event.
We would like to invite you to a special event hosted by one of our
generous sponsors, Ophelia's World Cafe. The choir will be performing there this Wednesday, May 27th in an effort to
raise funds for the AHS Choir program. Please visit our Fundraisers page for more information. We really hope you can make it, and please tell all of your friends and family as well!
